How to Apply for Aadhaar Card ?
Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Indian government to every individual resident of India. Any person can choose to apply for Aadhaar. Similarly, agencies providing benefits and services may choose to use Aadhaar in their systems and may require that their beneficiaries or customers provide their Aadhaar for these services. In order to apply for a new Aadhar letter, one have to physically go to the Aadhaar card enrollment center with/without an appointment. Online appointment for Aadhaar card Enrollment has been started on a trial basis at selected Enrollment Centers.

Demographic information required:
Date of Birth
Parent/Guardian details (required for children, adults may provide)
Contact details phone and email (optional)
Bio-metric Information required:
10 finger prints
Please carry all the documents mentioned above with original. One may or may not link their contact details like mobile number and email as they are optional to provide while applying for a new Aadhaar letter. But I suggest you must provide your correct contact details. Because, in order to update Aadhaar details online or some other purposes, it is necessary to link your mobile number with Aadhaar.
